romeo and juliet essay

in the play Romeo and Juliet is bout two enemies who fall in love. Romeo is a Montague and Juliet is a Capulet. they met at a Capulet's ball and its love at first sight. throughout the play they show the hardships they have to face to be together. Juliet changes throughout the play because she met then fell in love with Romeo.
in the beginning of the story Juliet is paired with the Paris. Her father lets Juliet decide whether or not she wants to marry Paris and so she considers it. when she meets Romeo she instantly falls for him. then Juliet doesn't want to marry anyone but Romeo. This is one change that happens to Juliet.
another change for Juliet is that she doesn't listen to her parents like she used to .before Juliet changed she would listen to her parents like a good girl, but now she doesn't , for example when her parents had force her to marry Paris she would scream and cry saying she didn't and wouldn't.
when Juliet changes its because of love. this shows that love can change anyone. all the changes started when she first met Romeo , after they had fallen for each other she had began to change. For example when Juliet had found out that Romeo had killed tybalt and he was banished from Verona she was sad. She was torn whether to stick by her family and hate Romeo for killing tybalt or stick by her lover, Romeo. in the end she was more sad that Romeo has been banished . if she hadn't fallen in love with Romeo then she would have hated Romeo for killing her cousin.
many people now still change cause of love , they change differently. Some choose their lover instead of their families and friends. love is strong and it can do many things to a person.

non-fiction reading response

In the article "Unfriending Facebook" by Veronica Majerol talks about how Facebook can affect someone and the way they live their life. People don't even call each other and can affect peoples education. In the United States there are fewer new users every year because people are worried about privacy. Some people don't join or quit because they just aren't interested in Facebook. Facebook can either go well in the united states or come crashing down because with the lack of new users it could be trouble or the new users will go up. executives of Facebook aren't worried they don't expect everyone in the U.S. to sign up and there are still many users in Asia and Latin America.
I think that Facebook is bad.It has lack of privacy and may other problems. One example that shows Facebook has lack of privacy is Zach Petersen. He is a 19- year old sophomore who has had Facebook for four years. During that time he had just gotten a new car and posted a picture of his car, then people on campus knew about it even people he didn't even know. "Its just kind or strange knowing that everybody knew about it", he says. "A friend of a friend of a friend can see your stuff ," even if "it was intended for you and your friends". This shows that almost anyone can check your profile on Facebook and you wouldn't even know about it.
Another reason that Facebook isn't good is that it isn't interesting and doesn't help with education either. Mary Carney , 21, a senior and food science major at Clemson University in south Carolina deleted her Facebook account two years ago because she wasn't interested in it. "It kid of just felt like a waste of my time," says Carney, "like my time could be better used o studying or doing all the other things I have to do." this shows that not everyone cares or interested in Facebook. A recent study by Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania says that Facebook activities like playing games, posting photos, and chatting is tied to poor academic performance. This also proves that Facebook cannot help in education.
After reading this article I realized that Facebook can help in some ways of your life but can mostly damage it. I learned that not only is your privacy is not safe that it hurts your academic performance. This makes me wonder whether people know about this , if parents knew they would never allow their kids to get an account and other users would delete their account to.
